Rwby: jaune and pyrrah

Alright so the start of the jaune and pyrrah story...

June’s P.O.V.

“Oh when I get my hands on him I’m gonna strangle him!” I muttered out angrily as I entered his school grounds noticing the war going on around me as I looked about soon enough feeling the death of a maiden “Oh? So she was here then... he was keeping her safe... that does not bode well...” as I began walking around smirking as all of the Grimm actually avoided me... then soon I saw his ivory tower and noticed a battle going on at the top...

I then noticed a girl in a red cloak running up the wall and was intrigued at the sight as I used my own powers to lift myself up and watch with interest as the girl with bright red hair fought with everything she could but ended up using her arrow to pierce her heart ‘her aim is off...’ I thought as I then saw the girl in the red cloak finally arrive as she screamed from her pain as she saw her friend disappear as I made use of my own powers to hide her from sight along with me as I noticed the girls silver eyes ‘Oh? She’s one of those.... that’s wonderful.’ I thought ftp myself as I made sure to leave her armor at the place of her ‘death’...

“Do not fret Pyrrha Nikkos... you are safe... now rest and regain your energy... going up against a maiden is no easy feat...” I said to her quietly as she groaned out in pain as I used my powers to protect her heart and remove the arrow as I quickly took us to my home and bar...

Jaune got out of the locker as it landed back in the locker room, taking off as he pulled his sword and shield. He ran outside and noticed the courtyard full of grimm. He grit his teeth as he glared at them and ran forward, cutting hitting and slicing each and everyone one in his way.

June’s P.O.V.


I looked over her and smiled as I noticed her healing was coming along properly and perfectly as I then began thinking on her weapons and new armor... “Miss Nikkos you need to heal and rest... I promise you that you will see your friends again... but you need to heal and relax... your friends will be of no help to you if you die...” I sighed out and pet her head as I stood up and went downstairs to the bar to serve customers and to even make sure I made money to help me and my guest survive...

Jaune got to the top of the tower and saw ruby sitting there, her form hunched. Slowly he walked over, his sword and shield hanging in his hands loosely as he saw pyrrahs armor, when he did, he fell to his knees and starred for a moment as his heart literally felt like it was tearing itself apart as he choked on his breath, he let out a scream as ruby turned and hugged him as he cried out, his scream echoing all over the courtyard.

**A year later**
June’s POV


Pyrrha Nikkos was presumed dead but she wasn’t... we did have to cut her hair now she had her hair down to her mid back, and she was okay with it since her hair had become tangled and matted over the course of her sleeping recovery...

“Miss summers?” Pyrrha asked aloud “When I- well when I fell during battle it was against a woman who had forcibly taken the fall maiden’s powers what’s to say you will not be next?”

“It’s June, and it can’t be taken from me... because I already have a child and my child will become summer maiden..” I said smiling “my mother raises her... and each daughter born from a maiden passed the powers to their daughters... it is a tradition... I am the tenth generation of summer maidens... and my daughter will be the eleventh when I give my powers to her...”

“Your daughter? You have a husband?” Pyrrha asked curiously as she helped clean up the bar...

“No I had a boyfriend at one point in time and we had planned on- well I thought we did... but then he was taken away on the night I was going to tell him about the- our child...” I said smiling sadly at the memory “and I haven’t heard from him since... it’s been ten years... and my daughter doesn’t know him and I plan to keep it that way until she needs to know about him...”

“Why is your daughter being raised by your mother?” Pyrrha asked “that’s not how a family should be...”

“Well I own and run a bar... it’s not looked upon highly in this town for a lady- a mother to run a bar while she raises a child on her own... so mother cares for my daughter while I support them and I see my daughter often!” I said smiling as I looked to Pyrrha happily “it was tough the first couple of years but I spend the rest of my day with my daughter when I’m able to.”

Jaune walked with ruby ren and nora on the way to haven academy, their clothes were dirty but otherwise they were okay. He still wore his favorite hoodie, along with a pair of light blue jeans. His armor had been adjusted and added on to very lightly but otherwise he hadnt changed.

Ren had changed his outfit drastically. No longer did he wear long sleeves, but rather cloth vambraces and a sleeveless top that still had a flair for the orient while he still wore white pants, but had black shin protectors over the legs and around the soles of his feet.

Nora had remained mostly the same, but ditched the metal armor support for something more her pace, a tear through the heart on her shirt.

And ruby, she kept the red skirt and cloak but had ditched the black top for a white one with a black corset that not only wrapped around her midsection but also her shoulders, outlining her bust. She kept her black stockings as well as her boots.

They trudged through the wilderness as they walked in the direction of haven, having fought many grim they seemed to be worn down from it all, but after coming across so many desolated villages here and there, they steeled themselves in their resolve and kept moving forward, some more than others...

June smiled and continued to clean up the bar along with Pyrrha...

“Pyrrha, can you make a run to the market we need more of those pepper poppers... but we don’t have any peppers...” June said smiling to her and then to her next customer “please be careful though...”

“I will be careful June...” Pyrrha said happily as she went to the market to get the supplies...

It wasnt until they got to haven that they stopped for rest, the place qrow had secured for them wasnt the best but it would do for now. Jaune frowned as he sat down in his room and thought of how the principal had acted.

Pyrrha smiled as she got back to the bar and began to put the supplies away from the market “I’m done June!”

“Thanks Pyrrha! I so appreciate everything your doing for me...” June said smiling happily “Hey you look worn out go get some more rest alright?”

Pyrrha nodded slightly as her body began to feel heavy... she then went up to the room that was provided for her and went to get more rest...

Jaune didnt come down for dinner that evening but rather fell to sleep early in the afternoon, pyrrha’s crown lying under his hand as ruby looked at him sadly before closing the door and walking away.

Pyrrha smiled slightly as she let June dye her hair with some blue dust, and shocked to receive new armor from June “June this is too much!”

“Nonsense, you needed new armor since I needed to leave your old ones behind...” June said easily “besides this armor makes you immune to the other three maiden powers... spring, winter and fall...”

“Really?!” Pyrrha asked as she looked down at the armor on her body “wow... how does that even work?”

“Easily as maidens we have the ability to use magic and dust without the need or aid of weapons...” June replied “I am the summer maiden so my powers mostly involve heat and water... I use the heat of the sun to make the armor and the water to cool it down into a solid and stable form... you do not have to be afraid of battling against a maiden again- other than me of course....”

“I do appreciate this but why? Why make this for me?” Pyrrha asked curiously as she looked to June “June?”

June merely smiled and sighed out gently “Because when I get recruited to join the fight and I will be- but who will be First I wonder...- I’d like someone strong and capable to be at my side...” June said and looked at the ground “Plus if anything were to happen to me I’d like you to protect my daughter until she can get into the battle training schools...”

Jaune watched as the new ozpin walked in one day, qrow was drunk off his ass again. Apparently some kid named oscar shared enough of the same ideals as ozpin for him to inhabit his body or something...it was all very strange and confusing...especially when the only credible source was lying on the couch in a drunken heap.

Pyrrha smiled as she watched Nixie run to her mothers arms “So this is Professor Ozpin’s Daughter?”

“Yes... she is his... but he doesn’t know...” June said as she smiled and hugged her daughter while picking her up and holding her “I was going to tell him but then he was taken on a mission... and he never returned from it... I only found out he was still alive when Nixie was five and he was running Beacon Academy... I couldn’t just go to him and drop he had a baby on him...”

“You could have written a letter... does he know where you live?” Pyrrha asked curiously...

“No... I used to live in Beacon but when he went on the mission and didn’t come back I moved here to Haven...” June replied as she shook her head and kissed her daughter’s forehead “she’s my world and my life... I’ve never wanted anything more than her safety...”

“As a mother should...” Pyrrha said smiling.

Jaune looked at oscar as he gave a sheepish smile and was reminded of how he used to be when he got started at beacon. He also felt somewhat perturbed by how ozpin had taken up residence in his body.

Oscar looked at ruby when suddenly he felt his cheeks get pinched by nora as she squealed about how cute he looked and everything.

Pyrrha smiled as she joined June and Nixie in their game of tag! Laughing as she and Nixie joined up together against June as they went about trying to wear one another out and to have a fun time... “She looks like him you know...”

“Oh don’t I know it! She has his hair, both our eyes, his smarts, my sense of humor, and both our stubbornness...” June said smiling at Pyrrha “How about you start working with me at the bar? And since Pyrrha is considered dead we’ll call you Cobalt?”

“That actually sounds good...” Pyrrha says smiling “it’s been nice being here... and your daughter has a lot of energy!”

“Don’t I know it!” June laughed out happily “she is an innocent soul I want to use my maiden powers to protect from the outside world... I know eventually she’ll learn about the war and everything else that’s happening but until then I want to keep and protect that smiling little girl I gave birth to those ten years ago....”

Oscar shivered as he felt a chill run up his spine as intuition told him he, or rather ozpin, was being talked about in someway.

Pyrrha smiled and nodded as she helped around the bar serving the food to the customers and keeping them in check...

June smiled as she served the customers their drinks... easily the two were making headway with their local and usual customers “Now now gents I don’t think Cobalt and I like being talked to like that... you should really learn some manners!” June growled out as she twisted one huntsman’s arm behind his back and escorted him out from the bar! “And don’t come back until you learn some manners!!!”

A week passed by....

Qrow and oscar walked towards the pub as they saw some people being tossed out with some yelling.

“The place is hopping...” qrow said.

“Clearly....” oscar said. “...and its okay for me to go in there?”

June smiled as soon as she went back inside of the bar, making sure to clean up the table the man had sat down at, to prevent the other customers from partaking in the evicted man’s spirits! “Welp! That’s one customer I hope I don’t have to deal with again.”

“Correct me if I’m wrong but I don’t think that’s going to help your bar out very much...” Pyrrha said as she looked at June curiously “or is this the way you’ve always done it?”

“No your right it really doesn’t help the bar out much when I throw out a customer... but then again most of the people here know how to mind their manners and their P’s and Q’s...” June said easily and sighed out “I may run a bar but that doesn’t mean they get to treat me or my staff however they please. And they especially do not get to talk down to me in front of anyone especially my daughter.”

“I suppose this is true...” Pyrrha says smiling as she then heard someone calling her by her new name Cobalt and went to take their orders...

They both waked in and took seats at the bar as qrow fiddled with something and oscar toyed with the cane.

June smiled as she looked at the two that just entered her bar “what can I help you two with?”

Pyrrha looked at the men sitting at the bar curiously but the shrugged her shoulders as her armor she now completely got used to wearing all the time...

“Two tops, make one a double...” qrow said as i continued to fiddle with the cane just under the bars edge.

“If you think you can handle two of those one of which being a double then by all means have them...” I said to him as I looked to the kid “but I don’t serve to minors unless it’s soda...” I then quickly made the drinks he ordered...

“June Mr.Baker needs another whiskey on the rocks!” Cobalt called out easily “and some more of those pepper poppers!”

“Aye! I heard ya! I’ll get those done here in a bit!” I shouted back smiling as I set the drinks down in front of the older male that reeked of alcohol...

Qrow smiled as he downed the double easily. “Ahh...” he said as he scooted one in front of oscar. “Hes older than he looks...”

Oscar looked at him inquisitively. “Not your most convincing argument...” he said.
